Dr. Haws graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a research scholarship to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He presented research in multiple locations and received awards. After earning his D.D.S., he completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Travis Air Force Base, receiving the General Sachsel Outstanding Resident Award. After military service in 2001, he began practicing in Kitsap County. Patients note his empathy and listening skills. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. Born in Star Valley Wyoming, he served a mission in Costa Rica, speaks Spanish, and volunteers locally and internationally. He enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and nine children.
