Todd is native to Bainbridge Island. Growing up, he worked with his father Harmon in the dental office as lab technician. After Whitman College, he taught English in Japan and worked in biotechnology before dental school. Graduated University of Washington with honours, then Harvard residency treating medically-compromised patients. Joined father's practice in 1997. Proud parent of two children.
