Dr. Nathan Phillips was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX. He graduated from Brazoswood High School and is a proud Buc Alumni. Dr. Phillips attended the University of Houston and studied Biology and Psychology. He achieved early acceptance into the University of Texas Dental Brand in Houston and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2004. Following dental school, Dr. Phillips accepted a commission in the United States Army and was assigned to Ft. Lewis, WA. While in the Service, he completed a 1 year advanced education in general dentistry where he developed a love for oral surgery. Continuing his studies, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in 2010, which included a 4-month facial trauma rotation at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, TX. Dr. Phillips joined Oral Surgery & Implant Specialists in the summer of 2017. Dr. Phillips is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and the Sioux City Dental Society.
