Born and raised on a farm just outside of Granville, Iowa, Dr. Schroeder attended Spalding Catholic School for most of her childhood until it merged with Gehlen Catholic High School in nearby Le Mars. Driven by a passion for science and healthcare, she pursued a bachelor's degree in medical biology at the University of South Dakota, establishing the groundwork for her future career in dentistry. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, she continued her academic journey at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. During her time at the College of Dentistry, she engaged in a mentorship program with other dental students along with performing volunteer dental services. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys exploring the world through travel and cherishes the company of her loved ones. As the second youngest of 8 and with 19 nieces and nephews, spending quality time together has always been a priority in her life.
