A native of Pierre, SD, Dr. McKinley earned his Bachelor of Science with honours in Human Biology and Speech Communication at South Dakota State University. He then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Following dental school, Dr. McKinley practiced at a dental office in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he immersed himself in the latest dental technologies and treatments. His training encompassed digital scanners, digital planning, root canals, oral surgery, and implant planning and placement. After moving back to South Dakota, he practiced dentistry for a couple of years in Canton, SD, just South of Sioux Falls. Dr. McKinley’s approach to dentistry is founded on trust, open communication, and patient comfort.
