Dr. Arooba is a Chicago-born and raised native with her family originally migrating from Pakistan. She completed her Bachelors in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Political Sciences from the University of the Pacific in Northern California, where she also graduated from the Dugoni School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Coming back home, she decided to continue her dental journey at Kampfer Dental, where she worked as a dental assistant before going to the dental school. Dr. Arooba strives to bring a more humanitarian essence to oral healthcare by centering patient comfort and goals in her professional work. She is motivated by offering fair and equitable dental care to all with a special attunement to marginalized communities. Serving as a general dentist, Dr. Arooba excels in addressing emergent needs, restorative work, and cosmetics. She is a staunch advocate of preventive education, taking the time to enhance each patient's understanding of their role in achieving and maintaining a healthy smile. Dr. Arooba currently holds membership in the American, Illinois State, Chicago, and California Dental Societies. Her interests of continued study include minimally invasive dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery and esthetic dentistry. Colleagues & patients often describe her detailed-oriented approach as attentive, comforting, and reliable. Dr. Arooba is fluent in Urdu and stays connected to her South Asian culture through time with her sisters, movies, and delicious foods. When she is not at work, she can be found reading, attending community events, or relaxing with her kitty, Martini.
