Dr Rubia Kapusta

Dr. Kapusta is an associate dentist at Dr. Lisa Ann Loescher & Associates Family Dentistry. She received her dental degree and her Masters of Science degree in Physiological Sciences from Federal University of Espirito Santo, Brazil in 1999. Dr. Kapusta is fluent in English, Portuguese and can understand Spanish very well. Dr. Kapusta is a Six Months Smiles and Invisalign provider. Dr. Kapusta is a strong believer in continuing education, and she is constantly improving her knowledge and skills. In 2002, she completed a two year General Practice Residency at LSU. During that period she worked one-on-one with multiple specialists within the field of dentistry and medicine throughout rotations at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans and LSU School of Dentistry. She gained hands-on experience in conscious sedation and management of medically compromised patients in need of dental work. After rigorous examination, she received a prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2012. Approximately only 5 percent of all general dentists have received this award. Dr. Kapusta is a resident of Slidell, La. and married to Dr. Daniel Kapusta. They are proud parents of Julia and Nicolas. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, playing tennis, practicing yoga, traveling, and listening to music. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Seattle Study Club. Dr. Kapusta also participates in the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, Donated Dental Services Program and has been a volunteer during the American Dental Association meetings.
