Dr. Thomas Patrie combines his artistic flair from a successful music career with profound dental expertise. Trained in cello performance at Oberlin Conservatory and furthering his studies at Brandeis and New England Conservatory, he transitioned from music to dentistry, earning his D.D.S from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Currently, Dr. Patrie serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of General Dentistry at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he shares his knowledge and experience with aspiring dental professionals. He is also an active member of The American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health, reflecting his commitment to the intersection of dental and overall health. Dr. Patrie honed his skills in comprehensive treatment and implant prosthetics during his residency at Stony Brook and has provided dental care to the Shinnecock Indian Nation.
