Born in El Salvador, her family immigrated to the United States in 1970 to San Francisco, California. In 1979 the family moved to East Chicago, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University in 1992 with Bachelors in Biology & Chemistry. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry at IUPUI 1996. In 2002 Dr. Celis established her own practice in South Bend, Indiana providing comprehensive dental care to the community. She has been an active member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and North Central Dental Association since 1998. Dr. Celis prides herself on continuing her education to provide the best dental care to her patients. She has many years experience in general and cosmetic dentistry as well as with dentures and other areas of prosthodontics.
