Craig Appelstein is our root canal specialist, or endodontist. After graduating from Penn State with a BS in Biology, he went on to get his dental degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). In 2004 he began his General Practice Residency at the New Jersey Veteran's Affairs Health System and worked as a general dentist for 2 years. He then returned to Rutgers for 2 more years to receive his Endodontic specialty degree. He has several Endodontic articles published in various Dental journals. He has received several awards, the most recent being named as a 2014 Top Endodontist in South Jersey Magazine. Craig loves spending time with his wife and 2 children when he's not performing the best root canals in town. HIs hobbies include cooking, golf, hockey and tennis.
