Dr Matthew Evers

Floyd Baker Dental is owned and operated by Dr. Evers — and he is no stranger to Gaffney! He attended Limestone College here and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Human Physiology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana (where he met his future wife, Neely.) They moved together to Charleston, South Carolina where they married and Dr. Evers attended the Medical University of South Carolina. He obtained his Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in May 2015. After graduation, Dr. Evers purchased a practice in Sidney, Ohio and changed the name to Evers Dental Center. He grew the practice and gained an outstanding reputation in the community for providing excellent dental care in a welcoming environment. He has since sold the practice and the Evers family is back in the South. He now owns and operates Floyd Baker Dental, founded in 2019. Dr. Evers and Neely have two daughters, Libby and Clara. When not in the dental office, he enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with his wife and their little girls.
