Dr. Nicholas Pearson grew up in southeastern Washington in the small town of Waitsburg. Coming from a small town, he didn't think a large university was the right fit for him. He attended Whitworth University in Spokane, where he earned his undergraduate degree and met his wife, Amy. They fell in love with the city while falling in love with each other. Like Dr. Hayden, Dr. Pearson was part of the University of Washington's RIDE program. After graduating from dental school there, he spent about a year working at his father's dental practice in Walla Walla. While the prospect of purchasing his dad's practice was available to him, he could never quite shake the feeling that he belonged in Spokane. He is thrilled that this feeling led to finding the perfect fit for his dreams: Grand Corner Dental. Although he won't purchase his dad's practice from him, he learned some very valuable lessons in patient care while working with him. Through his father's example, he learned the importance of patient-based, compassionate care with an emphasis on conservative treatment. His goal is always to make patients feel as cared for in the dental office as they would in their own home. Outside of dentistry, he is a passionate outdoors enthusiast. He loves backpacking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, and golf. He grew up in a musical household and has played the piano since the age of 4. One of his biggest hobbies is finding new hobbies. Recently he's been learning more about woodworking and furniture restoration. After being gifted an old piano in need of restoration, he is looking for tips. Feel free to share!
