Dr. Rachelle McDonald was born and raised in Ephrata, WA, and always knew she wanted to give back to communities like the one she grew up in. She earned dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Washington University, then went on to the University of Washington School of Dentistry as part of the RIDE program—an education track designed to train dentists to care for rural and underserved communities across the Pacific Northwest. Through her clinical rotations, Dr. McDonald developed a deep appreciation for building trust and relationships with those she serves. After graduation, she and her husband Josh returned to Spokane, where they now call home. Today, she feels incredibly grateful to serve the Medical Lake community alongside a team that shares her passion for patient-first care. Dr. McDonald is known for her gentle approach, thoughtful explanations, and genuine investment in every guest she sees. We are thrilled to share that Dr. Rachelle McDonald and her husband, Josh, are expecting their first baby this month! We couldn’t be happier for them as they step into this wonderful new chapter of life. Please join us in wishing them all the love, joy, and sweet moments that come with parenthood. No stress or worries Dr. McDonald will be returning to the office in Spring 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome her back then!
