Dr. Jason Ledger was born in Beaumont, Texas, but he spent most of his early years in the Spring Hill area. He graduated from the University of Texas where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Science with a concentration in Neurobiology and a minor in Chemistry. As a Neurobiology graduate student, he researched the auditory system and performed experiments in a neuroelectrophysiology lab to aid in the development of the next generation cochlear implants. He finally obtained his goal of becoming a dentist by attending Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. While in dental school, he began volunteering with two great organisations: Remote Access Medical (R.A.M.) and Give Kids.
