Originally from Havana, Cuba, Dr. Prida is a proud U.S. Army veteran who studied mechanical engineering, biology, and chemistry at Austin Peay State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Prida served in the Texas Army National Guard until 2018. During his active duty in the U.S. Army from 1999 to 2005, not only did he serve as a helicopter mechanic, but he also learned the rigorous effort required to serve and protect.
