She performed scientific research for 5 years and has published findings in internationally-known and respected scientific journals. She uses her background in research to keep abreast of new dental procedures and techniques. Dr. Kayla also obtained training to be an Emergency Medical Technician, and volunteered her time for a rural ambulance service while attending college. She utilizes her diverse medical history to relate to patients of all backgrounds and ages.
