Dr. Dara Darabi was raised in Southern California. He felt that a health care profession would uniquely integrate his passion for science with his desire to work closely with people. He received a Bachelor of Science degree for physics and biochemistry, then attended the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was the recipient of multiple scholarships and awards for his achievements in restorative dentistry. After achieving his dental degree, Dr. Darabi moved to beautiful western Massachusetts, where he worked in a community clinic before opening his own practices, first in Springfield and then moving to Turners Falls, Ludlow and Florence. Dr. Darabi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and has been recognized as an AGD fellow since 2013. He attends numerous continuing education classes and seminars each year to ensure his patients benefit from the latest advancements, techniques and technologies in dentistry. Dr. Darabi has also received advanced trainings in oral and implant surgeries, orthodontic and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapies, and dental sleep medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Outside of dentistry, Dr. Darabi enjoys hiking on the weekends in the beautiful Pioneer Valley with his family and Shiba Inu dog, Sienna. He is also an avid follower of all things related to personal health. He looks forward to helping his patients achieve optimal health through their oral health.
