Dr. Escario’s experience in the dental field spans over 15 years. Dr. Escario attended Cebu Doctors’ University in Cebu, Philippines, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and earned the coveted designation of board top-notcher for the nationwide examination. After moving to the United States, Dr. Escario trained in orofacial pain at the University of Rochester in New York, as well as advanced education in general dentistry at the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida. After years of practicing general dentistry in northern Virginia, Dr. Escario decided to follow her passion of working with children, especially those with special needs. She earned her pediatric dentistry specialty certificate from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Escario is a member in good standing with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Northern Virginia Dental Society and American Dental Association. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, dancing, hiking and traveling with her husband and three children. Dr. Escario volunteers annually for medical missions through the Foundation of Southwest Virginia Association of Philippine Physicians. She is currently learning to play the ukulele.
