Dr. Eggen received his degree from A.T. Still University and offers a holistic approach. Dr. Eggen started his work with the USAF as a Pararescueman where he was tasked with rescuing patients in the most austere environments in the world including combat zones to the high seas. He served in Afghanistan, Iraq and around the world on humanitarian missions. He went on to finish his undergrad degree at Columbia University and Montana State University in Exercise Science and completed his dental degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. The public health dental program with A.T. Still practiced a holistic approach to dentistry which Dr. Eggen still embodies today. While in dental school Dr. Eggen was on many rotations to different states including Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Wisconsin, and Idaho. Dr. Eggen worked for Wayne Community Health in central Utah before opening his own practice right here in Cedar City. Dr. Eggen believes in minimally invasive dentistry for prevention, and restoration of teeth. When diagnosing, his main goal is to keep as much of the good tooth structure you already have in your mouth.
