“Let me introduce myself as I hope to be meeting you in the dental office soon. My name is Sherine Apte and I am originally from Dallas, Texas but I relocated to St. Louis with my husband. He is a Professor in Ophthalmology at Washington University. We love living in St. Louis and raising our two sons. This is truly a great city, and although I used to be a Ranger’s fan… I can assure you I now wholeheartedly root for the home team St. Louis Cardinals. I have had a passion for dentistry since I was a young child. I would cajole my younger sister to sit in the living room’s recliner to let me examine her teeth. I love my profession, and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I am very excited to serving the dental needs of the community and being your dentist. I greatly look forward to meeting you. Dr. Hartel is a wonderful dentist, and the military veterans are very lucky to have him. I will continue to uphold his tradition of exceptional care that his patients have received.”
