Dr. Holly Thompson completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and received her doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She is passionate about biological approaches to oral surgery and has advanced training in zirconia (ceramic) dental implant placement. She has been awarded for being 1 of only 10 USA ambassadors for Swiss Dental Solutions implants and travels around the country teaching other doctors how to place SDS zirconia implants. Dr. Thompson has a fellowship with ‘The International Dental Implant Association’ and ‘The Zirconia Implant Society.’ She’s a certified Naturopathic Physician through the ‘American College of Integrative Medicine & Dentistry’ and a certified holistic health practitioner. Dr. Thompson tries to do a dental mission trip once every couple of years as those experiences have shown to be transformative for her. In her spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, training for the occasional triathlon, cooking, and spending time with friends, family, and service dog Manchego.
