Dr Thuy Nguyen,

Providing the most advanced, comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere is the priority of Dr. Thuy Nguyen. She dedicates herself to understanding her patients' needs and exceeding their expectations. Dr. Nguyen practices with the philosophy to treat every patient with compassion, professionalism, and a gentle touch. Dr. Nguyen was born in Texas and moved to Clearwater, FL when she was a toddler. She stayed local for her undergraduate studies and attended the University of South Florida. She then went on to earn a Masters in Biology at Mississippi College before attending Indiana University for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During dental school, Dr. Nguyen was on the Dean's List and graduated Top 25 of her class. Dr. Nguyen was then selected into the highly-competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida where she worked alongside world-renown dentists and honed in on her skills in implants, cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and endodontics while studying with The Dawson Academy and Implant Educators. She has build on her expertise by becoming a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Nguyen's passion for continuing education ensures that the technological advancements being made in the field of dentistry are available to all her patients. Dr. Nguyen was invited back to the University of Florida College of Dentistry to be a Clinical Assistant Professor where she teaches the dental residents. Dr. Nguyen has been married to her husband since 2017 and has three sons, Nolan, Liam, and Levi. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family, travel, and is a self-proclaimed foodie. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.
