Dr. Sheretta Oates is a proud Detroit native who co-founded Dentists R Us in 2000 with a mission to bring quality dental care directly to children through school-based services. For over two decades, she has been a passionate advocate for improving children's oral health across Michigan, with a special focus on serving Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) and other communities experiencing gaps in dental care access. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Oates cherishes time with her two grandchildren and enjoys family travel adventures. She is an active member of the Michigan Dental Association (MDA) and the Michigan Oral Health Coalition (MOHC).
