After graduating as president of my class at VCU School of Dentistry in 2011, I completed a residency at the Veteran’s Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. Following my graduation from my general practice residency, I worked in a private practice in Williamsburg for a number of years before joining the Sterling Virginia Smiles team in 2015. I am a proud Hokie, having graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 — I grew up in the area and graduated from Langley High School. I am thankful for the time I spent working with and learning from my parents, Drs. Mitnick and Herbst. In my free time, my husband, Matt and I stay busy with our three children and two rambunctious dogs. I love to travel and am happiest when my toes are in the sand. Day to day, I find great joy in working out at Burn Bootcamp and playing and coaching soccer. I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society and Mommy Dentists in Business. I look forward to being able to serve you soon!
