Dr Joanna Stampelos,

Dr. Joanna believes in treating her patients as if they are family. She has extensive training in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and strives to treat her patients with the most up-to-date dental materials and technology. She believes that learning never ends and continues to take continuing education courses at every opportunity. She is now certified in therapeutic Botox application and Invisalign! Dr. Joanna graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her DMD from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and ranked 1st in her class for three consecutive years. Throughout her years in dental school, she earned numerous awards and scholarships. In particular, she earned scholarships for completing far more than the clinical requirements and for exemplifying clinical excellence while rendering patient care in all disciplines. Dr. Joanna was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society, a prestigious honor society awarded to the top students in the class. She graduated with awards from the Academy of Osseointegration and Northeastern Society of Periodontics for her excellence in implant dentistry and periodontics. She was also a founding member of the Aesthetics Society in cosmetic dentistry where she held leadership roles as president. Dr. Joanna then furthered her education and completed her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital, where she had an intensive focus on full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry.
