Dr. Richard Richter is the founder of Patchogue Family Dental and Hampton Family Dental, where he has been caring for patients across Suffolk County for more than 35 years. After graduating with honors in Biology from LIU CW Post in 1984, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Fairleigh Dickinson College of Dental Medicine in 1988. Since opening his private practices in 1989, Dr. Richter has built a reputation for his compassionate approach. He has advanced expertise in orthodontics, providing treatment with both clear aligner systems and traditional braces. He also teaches orthodontics to fellow dental professionals through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. In addition, Dr. Richter is skilled in the diagnosis and management of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD).
