Dr Daniel Jankowski

Dr. Daniel Jankowski grew up in Utah and gained life and world travel experiences that showed him the joys of service through helping people. After completing a mechanical engineering degree at Brigham Young University, Dr. J saw a path to merging his interests and passions in the field of Dentistry. With the influence of a great mentor, he went on to finish a Doctor of Dental Surgery at University of the Pacific. He was brought up to have integrity and to make meaningful contributions in the community, and takes this role and position at Sunrise Dentistry with grateful dedication. Dr. Jankowski keeps transparency, choice, and patient happiness at the center of his care philosophy, and leads the entire staff to do the same to deliver the highest quality of personalized care. Dr. Daniel Jankowski grew up in Utah where he was raised to act and speak with sincerity, and to make meaningful contributions to his community. He attended Brigham Young University, achieving a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. While designing a neonatal ventilator for village hospitals in developing countries, Dr. Jankowski realized he loved working directly with people in a healthcare capacity rather than designing products. Right around the time he was reconciling with this realization, he met Dr. Vogel, whose example of indiscriminate and compassionate care — even for patients with little in terms of physical health or temporal accolades — was instrumental in his decision to become a dentist. Dr. Jankowski completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He and his family’s long relationship with Dr. Butler has made the transition to the new office smooth and enjoyable. Dr. Jankowski loves helping people smile, and has built comfort and respect into the continued mission of Sunrise Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Jankowski enjoys spending time with his wife and their four wonderful children. He loves serving in his community as a sports coach, and in various roles in his church. He is also an avid hobbyist who plays guitar and sings and is an amateur chef.
