Dr Thomas Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen graduated with a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2019. Dr. Nguyen then attended a periodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where he received his certificate and Masters in Periodontics in 2022. You could say that he loves the University of Texas. Dr. Nguyen was very active academically and in research while he attended dental school and periodontics residency. In dental school, he competed in and won several competitions for his research on dental stem cells. In residency, he continued his research with regeneration and won awards for his research on antibodies and growth factors. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable on regeneration, which is one of the primary aspects of periodontics. Born in Houston, Texas, Dr. Nguyen spent the majority of his youth in Katy, TX. When he was younger, he participated in most sports, including flag football, basketball, and tennis. He also spent some of his free time helping his parents out in their computer store. Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending his free time playing golf and tennis. He loves being outdoors and enjoys traveling to visit and explore new places. When he is not in the office, you can find Dr. Nguyen eating at different restaurants. He loves to try new places to eat so make sure you give him a suggestion when you visit!
