Dr. Christopher Ricker, DMD, MSD, (Periodontist) originally from Houston, TX, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Brigham Young University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude from the Medical University of South Carolina and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honour society. His postdoctoral training began with a rigorous General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, where he gained extensive clinical and surgical experience treating medically complex patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. Before beginning his specialty training, Dr. Ricker practiced general dentistry in Davidson, NC with a focus on cosmetic rehabilitation and implant dentistry. He served as a clinical mentor and pursued advanced continuing education in digital smile design, regenerative therapies, and surgical techniques.
