Raised on a farm in Kokomo, Indiana, Dr. Oyler graduated from Northwestern High School in 1999. She began her academic journey at Purdue University before transferring to Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. Following her graduation, Dr. Oyler pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky, completing her degree in May 2007. She entered her doctoral training in the fall of 2007, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in May 2011. During her studies, Dr. Oyler actively participated in numerous professional organizations, including Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, the Hispanic Dental Association, the American Student Dental Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists. She also completed a dental mission trip to Ecuador and an externship providing care for pediatric patients in underserved areas of eastern Appalachia.
