Dr G. Eric Li

Dr. G. Eric Li graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery. At the Medical University of South Carolina, he completed his postdoctoral post-training in periodontics and received his MSD in biomedical immunology. Dr. Li specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants, advanced alveolar bone grafting and periodontal plastic surgery. In addition to his formal education, he has completed several advanced training courses in laser-assisted periodontal surgery and non-invasive gum therapy. He is one of few doctors who is a certified clinician utilizing the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols. Dr. Li also completed hospital-based anesthesia certification and is one of the few periodontists in Atlanta that provides in-office conscious IV sedation. Quality care with the most advanced surgical techniques and patient comfort is his #1 priority. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the South Carolina Society of Periodontists, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Li served as the vice president and president of the Asian Pacific Student Dental Association (APSDA) at the Ohio State University. He was the co-founder of the Asian dental outreach program in central Ohio and received a service award for volunteering at East Cooper Community Outreach. In 2019, Dr. Li started the Peach State Laser Periodontics Doctor Study Club and leads one of the largest Spear Doctor Study clubs in the Gwinnett Area.
