Dr James Wanamaker

Dr. James Wanamaker grew up in Camillus, New York. He began his education at Christian Brothers Academy then continued to Le Moyne College. He graduated cum laude from Le Moyne College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business Management. Dr. Wanamaker then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2016 with a concentration in pediatric dentistry. Following dental school, he then completed a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at SUNY Upstate Hospital and the Syracuse VA Hospital. He has completed additional training in Invisalign, advanced dentistry at the Dawson Academy, and surgical implant placement at the Brighterway Institute. Dr. Wanamaker also lectures across the country for IgniteDDS.com. Dr. Wanamaker sits on the Skaneateles Rotary Board, Syracuse Salvation Army Young Leaders Advisory Board, The Empire Dental Political Action Committee Board, 5th District Dental Society Board of Governors as well as serves as the Chair of the New Dentist Committee for both the New York State Dental Association and the 5th District Dental Society. In 2020 Dr. Wanamaker was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. Dr. Wanamaker resides in Camillus, New York with his wife, Francesca, their young daughter and Goldendoodle, Chewbacca.
