Mr Kathy T. Knox

I began my career in dentistry as a dental hygienist in 1981 when I graduated from Southern Illinois University with an A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. I worked in both general and periodontal practices for many years. I graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in May 2003 and was a resident for one year at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. I continue my education every year, beyond state requirements. I started Otego Family Dental P.C. in April 2010. I’ve been building the practice and my team ever since. I purchased a second dental practice in November 2018. The Oneonta office is manned by my son, Alexander J. Knox, DDS. It is my goal for the Oneonta office to operate with the same philosophy as the Otego office. I’m very happy to be living and practicing in Otego and I look forward to many years here. I enjoyed decorative painting for many years and plan to resume painting soon Dr. Kathy is a member of: American Dental Association , NYS Dental Association , 6th District of the NYS Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry , and Rotary International . She is past-president of the Rotary Club of Unadilla 2019-2020, a Paul Harris Fellow and is a supporter of the Harris Memorial Library in Otego .
