Dr. Sanders graduated in 1997 from Furman University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank prior to beginning dental school. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2003. He completed a post-graduate residency in General and Hospital-Based Dentistry at Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics in 2004. He began practice in Thomasville in 2004 and later opened Thomasville Dental Center in 2007. Dr. Sanders chose dentistry as his profession because of his desire to work with people and the detailed nature of dental care. In addition to advanced dental treatment, Dr. Sanders received training in operating room dentistry, sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, and medically compromised patient care during his residency. He participates in a significant amount of continuing education to stay current on the latest dental treatments. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Southwest District Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Georgia Dental Association, Dr. Sanders has also been inducted as a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor dental organization.
