Dr Thomas K. Leggett Jr.

Raised in Valdosta, Dr. Leggett attended Valdosta State University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry in 1983. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1987 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Leggett is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Forensic Dentistry and a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation for both adults and children, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). He is also certified in Botox and Dermal Fillers, which his patients utilize for esthetics, to treat facial pain and/or to lessen habits of bruxism. Dr. Leggett is very passionate about dentistry and bettering his patients’ oral health. Dr. Leggett lives in Whigham and is married to Carol and father to Tommy and Rachel. When not at the office, Dr. Leggett has many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and Tae Kwon Do. He is a member of the Whigham United Methodist Church where he teaches Sunday School. He also is an adult leader of Boy Scout Troop #383.
