Dr Hannah Fortier

Dr. Hannah Fortier grew up in California, New York, North Carolina, and Minnesota; but she is excited to finally be at home in the sunshine state! Dr. Fortier’s interest in dentistry began in high-school as she observed her talented and tender-hearted orthodontist. She was in awe of the precision, attention to detail, and artistic innovation that the dental profession requires. Her mission was to work hard at mastering the skills needed to treat individuals over a lifetime and provide personalized inter-generational family care. After earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri, she moved to Boston. Dr. Fortier earned her master’s degree in Oral Health Sciences and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University. While at Boston University, she founded the Dental Aesthetics Society where she brought nationally accredited lecturers and organized hands-on workshops addressing restorative dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Fortier was selected for a residency program at the University of Missouri where she received her certification in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. During this period, she focused on digital dentistry, 3D-printing and restorative techniques, treatment planning, and comprehensive dental care. Dr. Fortier believes that although technology is at the forefront of change, what remains consistent over time is the importance of communication and accountability to provide excellent patient care. Dr. Fortier desires to use her research and discoveries in dental medicine to better the lives of others through dental education and compassionate care. Dr. Fortier recently relocated to Florida with her husband Kevin, who is also a general dentist. Dr. Fortier enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, traveling, and exploring Tampa with her husband and new pup, Mozzarella! Dr. Fortier is a member of the Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, and Crown Council. Dr. Fortier is also a member of and Fellowship candidate in the Academy of General Dentistry.
