Dr Roxann Russell

Dr. Roxann Russell is a pediatric dentist with over 25 years of experience helping children build healthy habits and confident smiles. Originally from South Texas, she studied Biology at The University of Texas at Austin and earned her dental degree from UT Health Science Center in Houston. After completing her pediatric dentistry residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C., she has worked in a variety of settings, from private practices to public health clinics. Dr. Roxann Russell is a pediatric dentist with a heart for kids and a deep belief in the power of prevention. A South Texas native, she earned her Biology degree from The University of Texas at Austin, then completed dental school at UT Health Science Center in Houston. After a few years in general dentistry, she realized her favorite patients were always the youngest ones—so she completed a pediatric residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C. For over 25 years, Dr. Russell has cared for children in private practice, public health clinics, and hospital outpatient programs. She’s passionate about helping families create a positive dental home, where gentle, preventive care sets the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Known for her warm, down-to-earth approach, Dr. Russell stays current with evolving techniques in pediatric dentistry—especially those that allow for less invasive treatments when possible. Whether she’s seeing toddlers, tweens, or teens, she aims to make every visit supportive, informative, and stress-free for both children and their caregivers. Dr. Russell is the proud single mom of two beautiful daughters, Ally and Izzy. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and traveling with friends. A lifelong fan of the Texas Longhorns, she never misses a chance to cheer them on at football games—Hook ‘Em Horns!
