Dr. David G. Carter graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then returned to his native Connecticut, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. After completing a one year General Practice Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Carter returned to practice General Dentistry in Connecticut. After eight years of general practice, he returned to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he earned his certificate in the specialty of Endodontics. Dr. Carter is committed to the highest level of patient care. He is recognized as a Diplomate by the American Board of Endodontics. Additionally, he is recognized as a Fellow by the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Toledo Dental Society and the Ohio Dental Association. An avid writer, Dr. Carter can be found commenting on all things endodontic on the blog. Dr. Carter lives with his wife and two children in Toledo. He enjoys cooking, golf, and most of all, being a dad.
