"Dr. Jim" Zimmerman, a graduate of the University of Toledo, completed his dental education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1976. He then completed one year of post-graduate dental education at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. Upon finishing his residency, he opened a private dental practice in his hometown of Toledo, OH in July 1977. Dr. Zimmerman is a member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association, as well as a member and past-president of the Toledo Dental Society. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as many other professional organizations, and has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing dental education. In 2014, Dr. Zimmerman was inducted into the American College of Dentists.
