Dr. Shabbir Hashim grew up in Fremont Ohio and graduated from Ross High School in 1979. He continued college education at Kent State University and continued his undergraduate education at Ohio State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in 1984. He then joined College of Dentistry at OSU for the doctorate program. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989, he completed two years in post-doctorate training in Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the University Hospitals and College of Dentistry at Ohio State University. Dr. Hashim is on Faculty at Case Western Reserve University and maintains a status as an Assistant Professor in the AEGD Residency Program. While staying in a private practice environment, Dr. Hashim completed further training in Ambulatory Anesthesia at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH in 1992. Dr. Hashim also completed a mini-residency program in Implantology at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn New York and New York University in 1993. Dr. Hashim maintains a license in conscious sedation, and always maintains a current status in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
