Dr Daryn T. Nishikawa,

Dr. Daryn Nishikawa has a passion for providing top-notch care to his patients. With an academic journey that began at University of California, Irvine (UCI), where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Daryn knew early on that his interests where leading him to pursue a dental career. He proudly followed in his father’s footsteps and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the renowned Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC). After completing his graduate studies at USC, Dr. Daryn sought further professional development through a General Practice Residency program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Ronald Reagan Hospital. This program provided him with specialized training in hospital-based dentistry. During this time, he honed his skills in managing complex cases involving severely medically compromised patients while also catering to individuals with Special Needs. Following the completion of his residency program, Dr. Daryn worked in private practice until he was offered the unique opportunity to played an integral role in establishing the dental clinic at SpaceX located in Hawthorne City. After two and a half years as the lead dentist for this pioneering organization, Dr. Daryn decided to take ownership of his own practice in Torrance. Since 2018, Dr. Daryn has continued to serve both those with special needs and the broader community within the South Bay region. Furthermore, Dr. Daryn has been active in the field of Sports Dentistry as he dedicated his time and expertise to serving as the Associate Team Dentist for the MLS Chivas USA team from 2012 to 2015 and MLS Los Angeles Football Club starting in 2018 to the present. Not only is Dr. Daryn actively involved in professional sports dentistry, but he also volunteers his services as a dentist for esteemed organizations such as the United States Olympics and Paralympic Committee. To consistently provide the highest quality dental care, Dr. Daryn Nishikawa remains dedicated to honing his expertise by actively participating in continuing education courses and seminars. In his spare time Dr. Daryn can usually be found on the golf course or helping at one of his son’s sports activities.
