While working on my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California, I began working with kids and teaching them about oral health through Young and Healthy Pasadena's First Grade Dental Education Program. I then continued to volunteer and provide free dentistry for underserved kids through the well-respected USC Mobile Dentistry program while continuing my dental education at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Upon graduation, I decided to continue working with children and joined the family-oriented team at Western Avenue Family Dental and Oral Surgery Center. I believe the most rewarding parts of my profession are focusing on disease prevention and early intervention, nutrition education, and creating a positive environment for kid's to grow up loving the dentist! It is my deep rooted philosophy to treat children holistically and to ensure they feel seen, safe, and soothed during all stages of their dental experiences. I am currently working on becoming a Fellow through the Academy of General Dentistry and commit to the pursuit of education, professionalism, and advocacy daily.
