Mr Steve Yabuno,

Dr. Steve Yabuno has been serving the dental needs of Torrance since he opened his office in 1981. He was born on the big island of Hawaii but grew up in Los Angeles. Dr. Yabuno attended UCLA and majored in Biochemistry. He was fortunate to be accepted into one of the top dental schools in the country, the UCLA School of Dentistry, and graduated in 1980. To further refine his skills, Dr. Yabuno subsequently completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Long Beach. Dr. Yabuno’s commitment to providing the highest standard of care is evident in his constant pursuit of excellence and postdoctoral study. As member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Dental Society, Dr. Yabuno continues to take advanced courses in Dental Aesthetics, Implantology, Sleep Apnea, and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Yabuno has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Vicki, and is the very proud father of three children. Many patients have already met his son, Dr. Daniel Yabuno, who works alongside his father providing the finest care possible to their patients. His two daughters, Jamie Yabuno, MD, and Kristen Yabuno, RN, MSN, have chosen to serve their community through the medical field. When Dr. Yabuno is not busy reading dental journals, he enjoys spending his time swimming, weight training, biking, fishing, and traveling.
