A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Avery loves to improve smiles. She attended the University of Oklahoma for undergrad, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a double degree in History and Spanish. She speaks Spanish and enjoyed study abroad experiences in Mexico, Spain, and Chile while in college. Dr. Avery continued her education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where she graduated in the top ten of her class in 2006. After dental school graduation, Dr. Avery completed a General Practice Residency at Tufts University in Boston, focusing on the treatment of patients with special needs and complex medical issues. Dr. Avery believes the best part of dentistry is getting to truly know her patients, and she prides herself on the fact that many of her patients actually have fun in the dental chair!
