Dr. Peter Kalu is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles through personalized, compassionate dental care. A proud native of Bowie, Maryland, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Howard University, followed by his DDS from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC in Los Angeles. He also holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Certificate in Health Policy. Dr. Kalu enjoys blending hands-on clinical work with problem-solving and artistry—whether it’s restoring a patient’s function with dentures or transforming a smile through cosmetic care. He believes deeply in the power of dentistry to not only alleviate pain but to change lives. Outside the office, Dr. Kalu is a dedicated mentor, volunteer, and community servant, having participated in mission trips, mobile clinics, and outreach through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. At home, he loves spending time with family, cheering on the Washington Commanders, and chasing around his lively pup, Marley.
