Remya completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery in 2004 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. Remya entered the International Dentist Program at UCSF in the fall of 2009 and graduated in the summer of 2011. Upon graduation, she worked in the central valley of California in various federally qualified dental clinics. During the course of her work here, she found her calling in treating pediatric patients in the underserved communities. Her decision to pursue a specialization in pediatric dentistry was born out of the various interactions with her patients in these communities. Her dream came true when she was accepted into Pediatric residency program at the prestigious UCSF School of Dentistry, San Francisco and earned her Masters in Orofacial sciences. Her goal is to make her patients feel at ease and give them a memorable dental experience.
