Dr Hiram L. Johnson, SR.

Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate studies at Spring Hill College in Mobile Alabama. He earned his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1964, then moved to Tuscaloosa as a member of the dental staff of Bryce Hospital. He opened his private office in 1966. He has been privileged to serve in many elected and appointed offices within the Alabama and American Dental Associations. Dr. Johnson and his wife, Pat, are parents of four children and enjoy the blessing of twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He has participated in many dental mission trips over the past forty years, most of which were in Honduras. These trips, and the related ministries, are dear to him, and he looks forward to many more such efforts. He often refers to his patients as part of his "family" and genuinely feels that this is true. When asked about retirement he replies simply that he will not be in the office on the day after his demise. He truly believes that he will never retire and looks forward to continuing to care for his patients for many years to come.
