Dr. John Bennett is a 1993 Cum Laude graduate of Samford University, holding an undergraduate degree majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry. After gaining his undergraduate degree, John Bennett attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and graduated in 1999, receiving his doctorate degree. Dr. Bennett has been practicing dentistry in Tuscaloosa, AL since 1999. After graduating from the U of A SOD in 1999, he worked as an Associate for Dr. Bill Wright for a year, for another four years he worked with Dr. Paul Diaz, before establishing and opening Capstone Dental Care, PC in 2004 with Dr. Jennifer Dickson. Dr. Bennett is a member of American Dental Association (ADA) and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). In Dr. Bennett's ten years in practice he has always exceeded the minimum requirement for continuing education. His favorite procedures are root canals, fillings, and anterior cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bennett is a proud father of two sons, Jackson and John Calvin (Junior) and a daughter Laura and is married to Amy Bennett. When Dr. Bennett is not in the office, he enjoys working in his yard and garden and spending quality time with his family.
