Dr. Desai has graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry which is one of the prestigious dental schools in the United States. She has also completed her post-graduate training in Periodontics & Oral Implantology from one of the finest schools in India. She has received Advanced Education and “Diplomate” designation from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine in screening patients who snore for sleep-disordered breathing and referring them to physicians for appropriate diagnosis. Along with providing comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Desai provides amazing cosmetic makeovers, complex dental implant treatments, all-on-fours and snap-on dentures and very thorough periodontal cleanings, laser and advanced periodontal treatments. In close collaboration with physicians, she can provide management of Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) with Oral Appliances. She is a member of American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, Australian Dental Council and has published various research papers in international journals. She has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years and was working as an Emergency & Family Dentist in Private Practices in Sydney (Australia) before relocating to the USA.
