Following his graduation from high school, he dedicated six years to serving in the U.S. Navy, developing a strong work ethic and leadership skills that continue to define his approach to patient care. Upon completing his military service, Dr. Black pursued higher education at Valdosta State University before earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from The Medical College of Georgia in 2004. With a passion for providing top-tier dental care to his community, he established Quitman Family Dentistry in 2004, later expanding his impact with Valdosta Family Dentistry in 2009.
